Massive Updates Coming to Popular Caribbean Cruise Port

The project could generate ~USD 20M (in private investments), ~USD 16M (annual impact) and support ~400 local jobs. The renovated drydock could be used for general maintenance works and refurbishments of various ship types (including cargo, smaller-sized cruisers, ferries, superyachts). There isn't much to see within walking distance of the Pan American Pier but there are two hotels that can be convenient for an overnight stay - the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino, and the Hyatt House Hotel. This small airport only has connections with other small Caribbean islands. This is NOT the international airport with connections with US and International airports. The 3 piers right by Old San Juan are perpendicular to the shore and two of them have terminal buildings.
